To confirm the signer is who they say they are using public‑record data.

Biometrics

Biometrics is another identity‑verification method used when KBA cannot be completed (for example, the signer doesn’t have enough credit or residency history).

Biometrics verifies identity using:

• Facial recognition / selfie match

• Liveness check (proves the person is physically present)
